Lots and Lots of Trains!

*cue psychotic announcer*
Big trains! Little trains! Fast Trains! Slooooow Trains! Lots and lots of trains! Hahahaha, that was a stupid commercial on TV. Now for something that actually might be worth your time...

Yesterday I made an account on Fanfiction.net, adding to my slow takeover of the internet! Just kidding. (Or am I???) Anyway, I'm writing a Sonic fanfic! It probably sucks really badly, but I'm trying. To make it good, not to make it suck. Ok, bye.

Finally back! Finally!

Waaaah I haven't been online for the last million yeasr!!! lol, not really, but still... I have been promoted to the leader of the eclipsed lane in swimming! Also, we are now in life skills which is WAY better than engineering. We're taking "Blue Ribbon Testing" and so science is in the english room. Hahaha, good times with Jaime. In gym we're doing "Project Adventure". Um, I think that's it. GB upate= 73 pages!!! Less than 30 to go before triple digits! Yay! I'm serious, I think my friends have more ideas for that thing than I do. In science aka english, Monika and Danielle were thinking of plots! I'm not saying that's bad. They should get into writing. Everyone should. It's awesome.

First Day of Life Skills

Today we switched from engineering to life skills, life skills to engineering, whatever. So far life skills seems much better than engineering, especially cuz you know who isn't in my class! We're doing sewing first, and I'm gonna make the peas in a pod pillow. Yup, it's been a pretty good day. Also, in French, Brandon did this hilarious charades game and even Mr. Robles was laughing! And we have no French homework. Talk about a good day...it was awesome!

All Hail...Google?

This is hilarious. In humankind's pathetic need to be controlled by a "god", Google has created its own religion, arguing that Google is close to being a god. It's kind of true. Admit it. It knows all, sees all, and controls all. How many people haven't used Google? So now you can log on to http://churchofgoogle.org and worship Google. Man, it doesn't get any better than this. What will these crazy people think up next? Goodbye, and remember: Don't Be Evil. xD

P.S. Google is a GIRL! Take that, you sexist long dead bible writers!

Life in the Eclipsed Lane

Last week Sierra got moved to the fast lane in swimming while I wasn't there. We swim at the same speed, and today I swam even faster, but all Susan does is play around with her Blackberry and talk to Blaire, occasionally shouting "Go!". But I refuse to say that I'm in the "slow" lane because it's not true! We've just been eclipsed, and Susan won't notice us. Maybe I sound inspirational. Maybe I sound like a whiny child.

Science

My entire science project is due Friday! I have to make the poster and finish the conclusion! I should be doing that right now! Bye!
P.S. I love exclamation points!

omg its Tails

Look it's Tails! He's so cute! xD Anyway, today I'm goin' to the swim meet. We are taking a group picture before the meet, and I hope that means we will be dry and in normal clothes. Obviously from the boring content of this entry, there is nothing to write about. Goodbye.

I'm Back

Yup, after a week away from swimming, I have returned. Yay. Plus tomorrow is a swim meet (home, thankfully), so I kinda had no choice. Not that I don't loooove swimming, but today Susan was pretty much running a torture chamber at the YMCA pool. On a better note, Mom is making cookies for the meet, so I get to eat some! Yum, cookies...

Guess what?

Today I went to the orthodontist and surprise, I am getting braces. (In case you didn't know, that "surprise" was sarcastic) I actually don't really mind, but what's gonna be like torture is that I won't be able to eat chewy candy or gum! No swedish fish??? I've got to cram as much junk food into my schedule as possible between now and April. Grrrrr...

A trip down Everett Lane

If you hack into my Yahoo account, go to email, and type "Everett" into the search space, you will most likely be knocked unconscious. When you wake up, take a minute to admire the obsession. Oh man we are freaks.

In other, more normal news, today we worked on our books with our Book Buddies. I'll admit it: I always have a little trouble finding my Book Buddy. They're just this huge clump of kids that kind of overwhelm you at first. So anyway, today we did the books. The kids had to dedicate them to someone, and Celina's Book Buddy dedicated it to her dad. Ok, normal enough. But then she took a black marker and wrote "to Kate" over it in big letters. I mean, it's sweet and all, but she's not even my Book Buddy! And I wonder how her dad is gonna feel about that. Sometimes I think me and Celina should switch Book Buddies.

Also, I'm gonna enter a book contest with Celina! First Jaime was making me raise my hand, and I was kinda doubtful. Those books are only 16 pages long, half pictures. But then Celina had the genius idea of collaborating and doing "Sticks 'n Stones". So what if it's forty something pages long? It'll be fun, even if we win and have to split a $100 scholarship and end up buying something like calculators. She's gonna do the handwriting and I'll draw. Finally "Sticks 'n Stones" has a future!

...no title

Tomorrow is the day long Book Buddies meeting! Yay! Wow, what a pathetic entry.

Snow Day!

I know I haven't posted in the last few days. On Friday I just didn't feel like it, Saturday I had a swim meet in New London for over six hours and then we ate out, and Sunday Theresa came over and I had to finish my homework.

But now it's a snow day! I did the thing where you put a spoon under your pillow and wear your pajamas inside out, and (coincidentally) it snowed! So now I can have fun all day and on Wednesday I'll miss gym instead of drama for the Book Buddies all-day meeting.

Buried Treasure...

...on my computer! I was looking through old files today and guess what I found? "The Fall of James"! For the 99.9% of the world who have no clue what that is, it's a video (stop-action, of course) that I made with Celina. I also saw "Lego Crash" that I made with my brother, and the one from CAW with Sierra! That was the video that started it all. With clay. Good times again. I love stop action. Speaking of which, 15 views! I'm slowly going up.

Not much time to type

So yeah I have to go to swimming in like five minutes, but I'm typing this becuase I promised myself I'd write every day. So far I've got 10 views on my video, woot! Guess what? Next Wednesday people in Book Buddies get to spend the whole day doing...something easy. The point is, I get to miss English and Shakespeare-o-rama class! Yaaay! Too bad I couldn't miss gym, though. Ok, I gotta go.

My first YouTube video!

This is it, I finally finished a decent stop action video and it is on You Tube! Here it is:

Hope that worked. It's not the one I was talking about before, but I like it better.
So yeah... enjoy!

Taking Away Trix

Yesterday my mom told me that Trix cereal is being discontinued. Trix is my favorite cereal. It's my life (ok, not really). I'll go into Trix withdrawal when we finish the four boxes she bought. But I do have something to say about their ads. Kids, let the rabbit have the freakin' cereal before he starves. That's teaching children across America to be greedy and not share with others. Of course, when they're not watching TV they're probably playing violent video games, so I don't think one lousy commercial is anything compared to that. Anyway, I'm gonna miss that cereal. And if my mom was misinformed, someone please let me know.

Trix, I'm gonna miss you... *sniff*

Harry Who?

This morning I picked up an old Muse magazine and flipped through it. To my annoyance, one of the articles was raving about how "fantastic" (note the sarcastic quotation marks) Harry Potter is. Why does everyone love HP so much? I don't get it. The books are really boring and the plots use one consistent "Harry format". You ask how J.K. Rowling came up with her "masterpeices". I ask how they got published. And in the 7th book (unfortunately I read most of them), why does he die and come back to life? Stuuuupid. HP fanatics, move on. Please.

Saturday (how uncreative)

Yay, it's Saturday! Today Celina came over and my brother Mike invited his friend Max. We saw National Treasure 2, which was interesting but way different than the original. Also, I don't know why I'm bothering to say this, but Riley is much cooler than Ben and Ben should be the sidekick. But whatever. Anyway, after that we had Domino's pizza and then me and Celina did stop-action. I'm not going to say what it's about because if a certain someone reads this, it's the end of the world. Yeah...

Here's something that's been bugging me: why is the sale of beer illegal on Sundays? Not that I want to go out and get alcohol, but since it's religious, it's really unfair to atheists and other people with different religions other than that of the no-beer-on-Sunday people. Especially because I am an atheist and I find the fact that these laws are still in place very disturbing. Why don't we all just sit in our rooms on Sundays with the lights off muttering into the air to "God"? Oh, right, cuz some people have a life.

Blub, blub

I just got home from swimming, where our (as in the swim team) coach Susan worked us to the verge of death. Now my side hurts and I'm just happy to sit here like a lump in front of the computer.

You know, I glanced up at the title of this blog and even though it's only a day old, where is the writing part? So here we go:
Status of my green binder story: 64 pages and dying.
Status of Catfight: 173 pages and dead =[

And finally, lately I have been really into stop action movies. Here's a really lame "band" I made with help from my brother:

*roar, it doesn't work. well, when i put soemthing on YouTube, I'll let you (whoever "you" are) know*

Notice how it loops a lot? Well, I gotta go eat dinner. (Man, this video takes a while to load)

It's Friday(eth)

Before I say anything, welcome to Friday, the best day of the week. Ok. Now we're good. So today we started a unit in drama on Shakespeare. Hence the eth at the end of Friday. I really don't understand how people like his writing because it's so clogged up with dead words that no one uses anymore that you can't make sense of it. I don't get why the human race didn't die out in his time becuase they couldn't understand each other. The 8th wonder of the world. In other news, me and Celina were talking about prank calls on the bus. Haha, good times. (ya like that potatoes?)
"Hello, this is the police"
"Wha..."
"Do you know what we found in your garage?"
"Uh, my car?"
"No. Illegal immigrants and drugs. You're under arrest."
...The bus ride in a nutshell. I would die laughing if I ever got the chance to do that to a random person. And my last word, of course, would be Everett.

First post!

Hooray, this is my first post! After I read an article on blogging today in the newspaper, I figured, "Hey, I really should have a blog by now". So here it is. I had a little trouble getting it, because SOMEONE used my original email adress without my consent. I wonder who. Anyway, I ended up making a new one just for blogging, so whatever. And I think Everessa is a pretty name, don't you? Of course you do.
